Understanding the pitfalls of physical activity in the presence of back pain (and how this program changes everything!)

You already know that exercise is good for your health, and you are often told that rest should be avoided when you suffer from back pain. You are also told that physical activity will help you heal more quickly.

Easy to say, you might say! These tips are easy to understand, but sometimes difficult to apply. The pain can be so incapacitating that moving seems impossible at times.

You may also be afraid of making your symptoms worse by doing the wrong things. Perhaps you have already had a bad experience at the physiotherapist or following videos on YouTube with unconvincing results. You lack knowledge, you don't know where to start, and you lack motivation.

The RIGHT way to exercise your back

Rule #1: Although exercise is beneficial for the back, it is essential to understand that an exercise done incorrectly can AGGRAVAGE your pain instead of relieving it.

It is crucial to adapt the gestures in terms of range of movement to avoid worsening the pain. Exercises should target the key muscles that support the spine, without compensating with movements that could accentuate existing pain.

In addition, it is necessary to adapt the parameters and intensity of the training, such as the speed of execution, the number of repetitions, the frequency and the order of the exercises performed.

It’s complicated, I know! But these adjustments will allow you to exercise effectively, and without fear of relapse due to one wrong move.

Don't worry, the 21 Day Back Pain Program is carefully designed to meet these requirements, offering you a tailored and personalized action plan.

Rule #2: There is no miracle exercise that can solve all back problems. Any exercise must be integrated into a global approach to really make a difference.

To effectively treat back pain, it is essential to diversify the exercises. By integrating stretching, strengthening, breathing and stability techniques, you provide your body with the tools to heal optimally.

It is equally important to recognize the need for rest. Knowing when to rest is crucial to avoid overloading your body. Adequate rest not only helps prevent injuries, but also promotes effective recovery after physical exertion.

Additionally, preventing muscle stiffness and tension BEFORE it becomes incapacitating is another key to success. By actively managing these symptoms, you maintain the flexibility and physical comfort needed to continue your exercises smoothly and without interruptions due to pain.

Finally, the use of analgesic modalities in addition to exercises is recommended to control pain. This not only allows you to improve your performance of the movements prescribed in the program, but also to progress in a safe and efficient manner.

In short, any program worthy of the name must be composed of progressive exercises, intelligently adapted to your condition, and associated with complementary approaches aimed at managing symptoms and controlling inflammation.

Guess what ? The “21 days against back pain” program meets all these needs, and much more!

Who is this program for?

This program has been specially designed for you if:

Why trust me? (A word from the founder of the program)

My name is Anas and I am a qualified physiotherapist from Canada. Over the past 13 years, I have had the privilege of working with many back pain patients across different countries and continents.

You will therefore understand that I have seen almost every possible case, from temporary lower back pain to serious cases requiring urgent medical intervention.

Over the years, I have treated many cases of disc herniation, sciatica, osteoarthritis, cruralgia, narrow lumbar canal, scoliosis, etc. and I can humbly assure you that the vast majority of my patients have had very satisfactory results.

Building on my experience in the office, I have now turned my attention to my online community. This is why I created Lombafit, in collaboration with various health professionals.

Our mission ? Use our expertise and experience to help those suffering from back pain, and provide them with a platform to stay active and play sports without being limited by their pain.

The #1 reason why back pain persists over time (are you guilty?)

I've noticed that people with back pain often exert themselves a lot when their back is painful. They apply all the right advice, adopt good posture, do exercises and sports, and consult health professionals.

However, as soon as the pain disappears, they forget these good habits and become much less active. Unfortunately, recurrences are then very frequent, and they continue this cycle of rest-exercise over the long term.

The solution would then be tointegrate an active approach in his daily life. It's about setting up a routine that wouldn't take a lot of time, would be tailored to your needs, safe and back-friendly, motivating, fun and engaging.

This is precisely why I designed the 21 day program against back pain. This program is designed to introduce an exercise routine to keep your back strong and healthy over the long term, while preventing relapses and future injuries.

The exercises are progressive, complementary, well explained and the photos of the “gymnastics teacher or physiotherapist” allow you to mimic the positions (It is difficult to do a movement without seeing the teacher who shows the example).

This helps me a lot.

If I remained lying down, crippled by pain, with an electro-stimulator around my neck, I would feel less pain buts the neck paralysis would only get worse. …I am practically obliged to do exercises every two or four hours, otherwise the pain leaves me lying there unable to sit or walk….

1. Back and lumbar spine exercises help me with my cervical spine.

2. I have no explanation for this phenomenon of paralysis. Medicine has never offered me anything. Before your physiotherapy sessions, I had undertaken yoga or Tai Chi, but the exercises are not targeted enough for the lumbar spine and the cervical spine which require specific rehabilitation.

Do you have a medical explanation for this phenomenon!?

Thank you for your advice.

Do you still doubt? Here are some frequently asked questions

Can the program help me if I am over 60?

Absolutely ! Because it is designed to perform progressive exercises, this program can be adapted to anyone. As older people are often sedentary, they often benefit the most.

What if I can't get out of bed?

Although the program is safe, it will also not work miracles if there is excessive inflammation present. In this case, you will first need to control the pain and obtain the green light from your doctor. This is when you should begin the program.

I can already find several exercises on Youtube, so why get this program?

The exercises on Youtube do not take your specific situation into consideration, and are often aimed at a young and very active population. Moreover, several of my patients complain of having worsened their symptoms after trying an exercise found on YouTube. That's why the exercises in this program start in safe positions and then progress at your own pace to avoid injury.

I do physio, should I get this program?

To be honest, physiotherapists can theoretically offer you even more suitable exercises. The problem is that the structure of the health system prevents them from practicing in complete freedom. The 21-day program for back pain is ideal if you feel that the physiotherapist has not given you enough exercises to help you get better.
