Is the guide for me if I have been diagnosed with an L5-S1 disc herniation?

Believe it or not, but the term herniated disc is too general a diagnosis and does not cover the extent of your back problem. Some hernias are even asymptomatic, that is to say that the person can live all his life without any pain despite the hernia! It is therefore preferable to identify the directions of movements to be exploited to relieve your symptoms and improve your condition. And I make sure to cover all the possibilities in this program! Of course, some herniated discs require emergency medical intervention; I make sure to specify the situations where it is necessary to consult in this guide.

I had back surgery 17 years ago. Are the advice and exercises provided in this program adequate for my condition?
